West Tigers NRL 1989 Retro Jersey

The 1989, then Balmain Tigers are often spoken about one of the best teams to never win a premiership. A team that had been expertly crafted with an array of champion players at the peaks of their careers entering into a Grand Final that has been remembered as one of the best in the last few decades despite the loss, with overtime seeing the Raiders pull ahead despite the Tigers 12-2 lead at halftime. It seemed to be the final defeat for a team that had seen 11 premiership wins, 9 runners-up and 7 minor premierships with them mostly sitting in the sidelines until their merger at the start of the century into the West Tigers.
