Each year Nike and the NBA use the canvas of a jersey to create art that embodies the basketball community of each city, intertwining its history and culture into the new City Edition team design.
The Thunder's 2023/24 City Edition Jersey reflects Oklahoma City's renaissance and continued momentum looking to the future of the city and franchise. It celebrates the local doers and makers, those who create and drive art, fashion and technology while pushing culture forwards.
A custom pattern as the base, consisting of various elements of Thunder logos and wordmarks, celebrates the idea that their success is the result of the efforts of a collective community. The OKC logo is angled upwards as a nod to forward progression, while vibrant pops of colour are inspired by the energy of OKC and bright and optimistic street art found in the city.
