Bo Jackson did not join the team until the late 80’s, where he debuted with the 87’ Raiders, despite SLEEPING through the NFL draft and being notified after that he had been selected. The year prior he had even turned down a first overall NFL draft pick from the Buccaneers. His three-season stint with the Raiders proved to be a promising one, with 16 touch downs, 2782 yards and still to this day, despite his career ending hip injury, holds a Monday Night Football record!
