The 2005-06 Season was a HUGE season for both Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat! Starting the season off, Wade started in the NBA All-Stars Games, gave the Heat a 3-2 series lead against the Chicago Bulls in the playoffs despite playing on a severely injured hip, beat the Detroit Pistons in the next playoff round in Game 6 despite being down with the flu. Wade also brought his team to the NBA Finals, hitting a rebound career-high and taking home the NBA MVP trophy, becoming the 5th youngest player to do so! This was the Heat’s first NBA Finals since 1971, which they did so despite losing the first 2 games!
