Each year Nike and the NBA use the canvas of a jersey to create art that embodies the basketball community of each city, intertwining its history and culture into the new City Edition team design.

The Clippers' 2023/24 City Edition Jersey celebrates the love of basketball that permeates the city, culture and organisation. The design takes inspiration from their '80s jerseys, but features modern and distinct elements of LA basketball.

The Navy and Pacific Blue colours nod to the Clippers' nautical heritage. The "Clips" wordmark across the chest is a custom drawing by LA-based artist and Clippers fan Jonas Wood, paying homage to classic Clippers wordmarks. The jock-tag anthem features signature drawings of Jonas's signature basketballs, as well as his iconic plant drawings that overlap the "LA Clippers" wordmark.
