Pittsburgh Pirates Official City Connect 2023 MLB Jersey

In the last two years Nike and the MLB have been collaborating to produce individual uniforms for the teams that speak to both the personality of the city, the heart of the team and the history and essence of their community and fans. These MLB jerseys are the City Connect Series by Nike, and we are bringing you the latest teams to walk out proud onto the field in these. The MLB has said that these new City Connect uniforms aim to “invigorate long-time baseball fans and invite more people into the game, expanding the future of the sport” and we couldn’t agree more!

The Pittsburgh Pirates are the latest team to debut their City Connect jersey, walking onto the pitch in late June. We’re all for the Gold colourway in this new jersey, it really demands your attention and makes a statement before you even start looking at the finer details! You’ll notice an asteroid design, referencing the city’s “steelmark” logo, the “PGH” lettering across the chest pays homage to the Roberto Clemente Bridge that leads to PNC Park, home to the Pirates and the black trims and detailing pairs with the black pants of the players.
