The 1999-2000 NBA Season was a big one for Shaq, averaging 29.7 points, 13.6 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game, there was no debate on who was taking home the NBA MVP that year. On top of that, his skills and efforts throughout the season had him in the All-NBA First Team, the NBA All-Defensive Second Team and both him and team mate Kobe Bryant finished within the top 5 votes for Defensive Player of the Year. He finished top of the scoring table this season, second in rebounds and third in blocks, got the Lakers to the finals (and won) and also took home his first NBA Finals MVP. In his eight-year stint with the Los Angeles Lakers, he helped the team to four NBA Finals, a three-peat in both NBA Finals Championship rings and Finals MVP, multiple All-Star appearances, All-NBA namings and various MVP awards.
